Commander Carl F. Logan is originally from Philadelphia, PA. Carl graduated from Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, FL. Upon graduating, he worked for the Department of the Navy as a Budget Analyst at the Naval Training Equipment Center in Orlando, Florida.
CDR Logan, USN (Retired 23years active)., is currently a Senior Marketing Director with World Financial Group (WFG) and Registered Principle and Branch Office Manager with Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc./TFG Division. Carl has been with the WFG over 19 years and has operations in five states. Carl is currently security licensed in 25 states and holds insurance license in 21 states.
Marvetta Fields is an Independent Licensed Financial and Benefits Professional with current Life, Health and Accident insurance licenses in three states. Ms. Fields has taught personal financial education/management for small businesses and individuals for the past 4 years. She is committed to helping families to create wealth and long-term financial security for a diverse clientele. Her consultative experience includes working with small business owners to create benefit packages for employees and presentations on professionalism in the workplace.
In addition, Ms. Fields is a College Consultant for Heartland Institute of Financial Education (HIFE). She helps to educate parents and students on the college planning process and “How to do College Right.”
Ms. Fields additional experience includes non-profit management, as she served as CEO of “The Mary Tipton Foundation”, an organization that provides mental health education services, as well as substance abuse, medical and social services. In her position, she focused on creating programs to empower individuals and families who are not able to afford or access the services they need to overcome their social limitations. She created policies and procedures, applied for funding, implemented programs such as assistance for the cost of medication, the food bank, and eye care services. Additionally, she also started the annual 5k walk/run and the Music with a Mission fund raising events for the organization.
Marvetta graduated from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia with a BS in Mass Communications, and has previously worked as a Broadcast Media Professional over 30 years, with 26 years in operations at Turner Broadcasting Systems Inc. While at Turner, she assisted with managing and reconciling a seven million dollar tape library, which included movies, sitcoms, and infomercials and over a $1 million in raw tape stock. She also assisted with the creation of libraries around the world including Russia, London and Argentina, and worked managing a staff of up to 28 employees to help design several library management systems to support a myriad of networks.
When not working, Marvetta loves spending time with her daughter and family. She has done extensive traveling around the world to South Africa, Hong Kong, Paris, Amsterdam, Brazil, Canada, along with 43 US states. Moreover, she has a passion for helping others and has spent time volunteering in the community over 30 years both with her Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., as well as Girl Scouts of America.
